NESLL will hold player assessments for Baseball’s
1) Major, 2) AAA - National, and 3) AA - American Divisions at Ingraham High School Baseball Field (1819 N 135th Street, Seattle) on Sunday, January 28 and Saturday, February 3 – Players only need to attend one of the two sessions.  The assessment will include running, throwing, fielding ground balls, catching fly balls, pitching, and hitting.

2024 assessment schedule: 2024 NESLL Assessment Times

CHECK-IN TIME:
Please arrive 15 minutes before assigned time to register and warm up.

EQUIPMENT:  Wear appropriate clothing to fit the weather that day and bring your glove, wear cleats, and bring your own bat and helmet.  If you do not have your own bat and/or helmet, extras will be available.

ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENT:  All players in Majors, AAA (National), and AA (American) Divisions MUST be assessed to be eligible for ANY draft.  Any player that does not attend an assessment will be randomly assigned to a team based on their League Age1 as follows: 9-year-olds to an AA (American League) team and 10-11 year-olds to a AAA (National League) team.  Players 10 or 11 years old who do not attend tryouts will not be eligible for the Major Division draft.  12-year-olds who do not attend one of the assessment sessions will be ineligible to play.

NOTE:  Players that want to “play-up” in a higher division must attend the appropriate assessment (i.e. 10 year-old players that want to play in Majors must attend the Age 11 assessment.  9 year-old players that want to play in AAA (Nationals) must attend the Age 10 assessment).

MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND AN ASSESSMENT!
